Fun Play Only

No real money. No signup. No risk.

Your balance lives in this browser only via localStorage — it isn’t real and isn’t worth anything. Reset it any time from the controls panel. Every bet still uses real provably-fair machinery (HMAC-SHA256), so you can verify outcomes the same way you would on Stake, Shuffle or any of the other casinos WinLogger tracks. Click Provably Fair in the controls to inspect, rotate or audit your seeds.

Mines — Rules & Provably Fair

How to play

A grid (5×5, 7×7, or 8×8) hides a chosen number of mines. Click tiles to reveal them — each safe reveal pushes the multiplier higher. Hit a mine and the round ends with the bet lost. Cash out anytime to bank the current multiplier.

Math

For grid size T, mine count M, after revealing k safe tiles:

m(k) = 0.99 × ∏i=0..k−1 (T − i) / (T − M − i)

The 0.99 factor is the 1% house edge. As fewer safe tiles remain, the next reveal pays disproportionately more — the multiplier ramp gets steep near the end.

Example: 5×5 with 5 mines, first reveal = 0.99 × 25/20 = 1.2375×
10th safe reveal = ~6.2×, 20th = ~242×

Provably fair

HMAC stream → Fisher-Yates permutation of positions 0 to T−1. The first M entries in the permutation are the mine locations. Reproducible from the seeds and nonce.
