Midgard is where most of the game takes place. It is a cold and inhospitable landscape with mountains, snow, and ice. Players get a glimpse of how resilient the Vikings had to be to survive in such an environment. In contrast to the cold Midgard, Muspelheim is a scorching realm that represents fire and is guarded by the fire giant Surtur with his flaming sword.
